Scuderia Ferrari and IBM launch AI powered app for interactive F1 fan experience

IBM and Scuderia Ferrari HP have joined hands to create a new and improved mobile app for Formula 1 fans. The app uses IBM’s AI technology, which is called watsonx AI, which works on making the fan experience even more fun and informative, while focusing on Ferrari’s global fan experience. The mobile application is available in English and Italian.

With the help of the application, fans can now take part in polls. They can also watch famous race highlights, and even send messages to the Ferrari team. With this strategic partnership, Ferrari, along with IMB have expanded their AI technology deployment in the sports industry. Integrating watsonx AI and IBM Granite showcases real-world application of IBM's AI capabilities, providing access to Ferrari's global fan base of 400 million.

There will be new features expected throughout the 2025 season, which shows that IBM and Ferrari have plans of working together for a long time. However, it is unsure as to how much money they expect to make or how the partnership will earn revenue.

Ferrari and HP team up for a new look this Miami GPIn yet another technological advancement, Ferrari and HP have also teamed up to create a special new look for the SF-25 race car, which will be shown in Miami. The new design has a combination of Ferrari's iconic red color with HP's white and blue colors.

This new advancement was brought in by teams from Italy and Spain that worked together on this project. The teams used new technology to make the car’s film wrap lighter, thinner, and better at handling heat. It’s also eco-friendly. This was made without PVC, fully recyclable, and applied with HP’s newest latex printing method.
