Rich Holiday, Poor Holiday was back on Channel 5 this Sunday for a brand new episode as strangers from opposite sides of the wealth divide travelled together on two wildly different holidays. But just minutes into the programme, one family sparked fury from fans as they explained what they expect from a luxurious trip.

The families get to experience each other's idea of the perfect getaway, but one family's holiday paradise can be another's holiday hell. Two very different families showed each other their own experiences in this episode, with affluent medics and aesthetics practitioners Sam and Andre Dissont and their 14-year-old daughter Cassia first taking the cash-strapped Leaf family to a swanky health resort. Gary, Beth, 13-year-old Grace, and eight-year-old Noah were treated to a five-star stay in a Malta hotel - but the activities that the Dissonts had planned were very different from what the fun-loving Leafs were used to.

Once they arrived at the first destination and met up, the Dissonts, who often think nothing of spending £40,000 on a holiday, revealed that they like to do things the healthy way. They each take a £1,000 session in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber before they fly. Once they are away they stick to a strict diet, including no alcohol and eating plenty of fresh food and also exercise during their trips.

After revealing their ideal trip, the Dissonts then asked the Leafs - who normally love a blow out when away - to join them in their healthy activities.

The families embarked on an itinerary filled with private tours of the historical sites, sushi restaurants, a gym session and a snorkelling trip to the blue lagoon.

While the Leafs seemed somewhat impressed, they decided that it was not all worth the money. Meanwhile, fans at home branded the wealthy family as "boring".

Posting to X (Twitter), one viewer fumed: "What a boring family. Oxygen chambers, wanting to go on healthy holidays and come back healthier. What a load of rubbish, sterile to the core #richholidaypoorholiday."

Another added: "What pretentious snobs. Wasting a medical education to overcharge people for ridiculous s**t! I hope the poor people don't have to follow their strict rules. Yuck #RichHolidayPoorHoliday."

"Wow what a boring family #richholidaypoorholiday," another said, while one more added: "The rich family have to be the most annoying family they've had on this. Particularly the dad. Giving off accidental partridge vibes. #richholidaypoorholiday."
