Since January 2025, , fans have seen more pictures and videos of little Lilibet, than her earlier childhood years, as the Sussexes' concerns for their children's privacy have somewhat softened. We first saw glimpses of their sweet daughter in clips and stills in the couple's Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan in 2022, and the family even shared an official picture of Lilibet to mark her first birthday back in 2022.

Lili's first birthday was celebrated in the UK as it fell in the midst of the long bank holiday weekend celebrating the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
In a statement shared a few days later via the website of their organisation, , the Duke and Duchess said: "On 4 June, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.

Meghan shared a photo leaning over a hedge alongside her daughter with her long red hair flowing down her back. The pair admire the pink roses growing from the hedges. Meghan is wearing a black sweater in a cord pattern and black pants.
