
The M60 motorway was closed after a crash between a motorbike and a car on Sunday evening.
There had been a closure on the clockwise carriageway from J15 for the M61 and Swinton Interchange, to J16 for the A666 Manchester Road, following the crash at around 6.30pm, MEN reports.
At 7pm, both carriageways were closed off with "severe" delays in the area. National Highways said at the time: "The M60 in Greater Manchester is closed clockwise between J15 (M61) and J16 (Swinton), due to a serious collision involving a car and motorbike.
"Greater Manchester Police will be carrying out collision investigation work, therefore the road is expected to be closed for several hours."
However, in an update this morning, National Highways said all lanes have now reopened on the M60 clockwise between J15 (M61) and J16 (Kearsley) following the incident.
"The link road from #M61 J1 to M60 J15 clockwise has also reopened," it added.
