
Emergency services rushed to the M60 on the evening of Friday, July 4, following an incident that reportedly prompted the closure of one lane. Among the emergency services in attendance were paramedics and firefighters. Pictures from the scene also showed police vehicles.
The incident is understood to have taken place on the clockwise carriageway at junction 22, the MEN reports. It was first reported at around 6pm.
A teenage boy fell into a manhole and sustained "non life-threatening injuries", according to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS).
