Jimmy White's grandson is following in his footsteps by producing magic with red balls. However, it's not the snooker table where Ralphie Albert is excelling, but on the cricket pitch.
The youngster was called into the England Under-19s squad for their Test match with India in Beckenham. Prior to the match, the players met with iconic spinner Graeme Swann. White, 63, took to X to share the news with his 156,000 followers.
"Proud day as my grandson Ralphie gets his first England cap from Graeme Swann," he wrote. He also shared a picture of Ralphie and Swann together.
The Surrey CC academy player didn't disappoint either. Batting at No.8, he scored 50 off 62 balls in the first innings, which included nine boundaries.

It helped England to a total of 459. However, that score left the tourists in command as they'd batted first and scored 540, despite Ralphie taking 3-95 with his left-arm spin.
India then scored 248 in their second innings, with Ralphie only bowling two overs this time around. It left England needing 340 for victory, and it was the snooker legend's grandson who helped them hold out for a draw at 270, as he finished nine not out.
It's possible the two family members could soon be playing senior professional sport at the same time. In April 2025, White failed to qualify for the World Championship for the 19th consecutive year.
However, the sport's governing body then awarded the six-time finalist an invitational tour card for the next two seasons. His best tournament performance in the last campaign was his run to the last-32 of the Northern Ireland Open.
