British favourite is 'fastest-depreciating' car in UK with thousands shaved off value

One of the most recognisable British cars may be the "fastest-depreciating" model on the market, according to The new and used car specialists has claimed that the has lost the highest value of any model on the road.

It means the model retains just 28.6% of its value just 36 months after first rolling off the production line.

WhatCar? explained: "The regular Vauxhall Corsa is one of the best-selling new cars in the UK, and this pure electric version offers many of the same benefits of that car - namely, that includes a keen price and lots of standard kit for your money.

"However, it's also the new car which loses the biggest percentage of its value over three years and 36,000 miles of ownership."

The car is capable of 0-62mph in 9.9 seconds and packs a punch for a city runaround with a top speed of 93mph.

The model is capable of 53.3mpg and emits 118g/km of CO2. However, families will be impressed at the spacious 309 litres of boot space.

However, in their opinion, suggested that the Vauxhall would struggle to match one of its biggest rivals, the MG4.
