Police have identified the 78 year old woman who tragically lost her life after a car ploughed into her house following a collision in Coventry.
The tragic accident happened last week on Thursday July 17 when Barbara Howard was in her home after a Jaguar car hit her home just before 5pm. Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported her to hospital for treatment. Sadly despite the best efforts of medical teams she passed away in hospital shortly after arrival.
West Midlands Police reported that the car had been involved in a crash with a Volkswagen van at the junction of Shilton Lane and Lentons Lane.
Ms Howard was in her house at the time of the incident, according to police, who have specialist officers supporting her bereaved family. In a heartfelt statement released on Wednesday, her family described her as: "Caring, sharing, glamorous, and stunning, someone who loved life.
