What would you do if your neighbour attempted to steal something from you? You'd likely be annoyed and very suspicious, wondering how you could get petty revenge. One man was left seething after he realised his neighbours were trying to steal his land to make their gardenlook bigger while they were trying to flog their property.
Boundaries, fences, and land can all cause drama when cheeky neighbours try to push their luck, but when he realised his neighbour's realtor listed their back garden as "spacious," he was left with many questions. He explained: "They have a realtor that has taken pictures of our yard stating in the listing as 'has a spacious backyard'. Fact is, their house is placed on their lot further back, giving them a larger front yard."
He explainedon Reddit: "The neighbour now cuts approximately 50 feet into our yard in an attempt to sell their house as a 'spacious backyard'. This is always done when we aren't home.

"The realtor also listed their house as 'lake access' with the ability to 'build your own dock'. The house is across the street from the houses with lake access.
"I have gone over their attempts to take our property with a shorter cut to no avail. They wait until we leave and cut it again. Odd thing is, they never cut past the property line until they listed it for sale."
In the comments, people couldn't believe the neighbour had been so cheeky, saying it was "embarrassing" they'd done this.
Some urged the man to get a "fence," but others advocated more drastic action, saying they should use "orange spray paint to label yours/mine."
One wrote: "Yesss that’s the move. Once it’s marked, they can’t play dumb anymore. Add a sign too if you've got to. Make it crystal clear that this isn't something that's up for debate."
Someone else suggested they mark the line with "weed killer, so they cannot 'mow it out'."
A sneaky Redditor wrote: "I would put up a sign saying the boundaries are unsurveyed to warn potential buyers.
"I would also write a review of the real estate agent and company, explaining your situation. Then get some popcorn and wait for your survey, haha.
"P.S. My mother's neighbour did something similar (took photos of my mother's backyard and boat ramp when she tried to sell). Spoiler: No one fell for it and the house didn't sell."
Somebody suggested: "Can you rent a metal detector? Both times I hired a survey company and they found rebar markers at the corners. You might be able to find your markers yourself if they’re there."
