Love Island Harry Crossley's game plan 'rumbled' as fans slam 'manipulator'

Love Island 2025’s Harry Crossley has been labelled a "professional manipulator" by furious viewers who think they have rumbled his 'game plan' after his emotional chat with Helena Ford during tonight's (June 23) episode of the reality show.

After a dramatic recoupling where Helena chose to move on with another Islander, she confronted Harry for the final time over his betrayal in the Hideaway with Yasmin. But instead of offering a straightforward apology, Harry said his actions were a form of self-sabotage, which prompted backlash from fans who believe he’s playing mind games with the girls he is dating.

Harry told Helena: "I thought it was too good. I’ve done it in the past where I self-sabotage because I think it's too good to be true. I’m 30 years old I get it, I’m not making excuses, but all I've ever seen is things with an expiry date."

Helena replied saying that she doesn't think she can even be friends with him, adding: "It’s done now. You can’t go back on it. I can’t really be around you right now."

Although Harry appeared to be upset by their conversation, later telling Dejon that the loss of their relationship really hit home to him when she declared she didn't even want to be friends, viewers at home were not convinced he meant a word he said to Helena in their one-to-one.

One person put him on blast on social media, saying: "Harry is such a professional manipulator. ‘It was too good that’s why I sabotaged it’ - he’s so full of it. I know Helena fell for it too. He has to be using juju."

Another posted: "Harry is GENUINELY the biggest male manipulator I’ve ever seen. I usually hate to see it but it’s honestly funny at this point."

Someone else predicted that the cycle will just repeat itself if Helena does decide to take Harry back, exclaiming: "The second and I mean the SECOND Helena says yes to Harry, he’ll be back to Shakira. Helena: DON’T DO IT!!!!!"

Others called on Dejon to stop encouraging Helena to take Harry back, saying: "Dejon mind your business! Harry doesn’t want Helena he just wants her to always be around as his side piece. Stop giving the girl false hope."

Viewers believe Harry is not serious about Helena at all and just wants to prove he can win her back for the sake of his ego after she dumped him for kissing Yasmin three times in the Hideaway.

He initially lied about what had really happened, downplaying their intimacy, before being exposed in a group game. After finding out the truth, Megan put Harry on blast for Helena's sake, telling him: "You owe it to Helena to be f****** honest, you p****… Grow a pair of b******* mate, honestly, grow the f*** up."
