Ibiza Final Boss Jack Kay's gran makes six-word statement on viral haircut

The grandmother of a young partygoer who became an internet sensation for his distinctive bowl haircut while dancing in Ibiza has weighed in on his newfound fame.

Jack Kay, 26, has gone viral after being filmed showing off his dance moveson the party island. Sporting a huge gold chain, sunglasses, and clutching his drink, Jack's bright smile and black vest made him stand out from the crowd.

But it was his unique haircut that really caught the attention of thousands online and sparked curiosity about the "normal lad from Newcastle." It comes after the viral lad's girlfriend also spoke out.

Friends back in Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne described Jack as a 'wheeler-dealer' in cars, and said he walks around town confidently sporting his quirky haircut, gold chain, and bright 'Turkey teeth'.

"He thinks he's gorgeous," one told the Daily Mail. "He's not famous - he's a nobody. But now he's got a manager, so who knows what he’ll be like when he's back home."

His grandmother, Cynthia, told the publication that she was a fan of Jack's haircut, saying: "I think it's alright, me. He is who he is. He's a happy-go-lucky lad. He's a nice guy."

On Wednesday night, Jack, who has become known as the Ibiza Final Boss, addressed his sudden fame on Instagram, describing himself as 'just a normal person from Newcastle'. He thanked fans for their support, saying: "It's a lot to take in at the moment. Stay locked in, got some big news coming."

Jack also shared a photo with Tony Truman, co-owner of Ocean Beach Ibiza nightclub.

Fans were offered another look inside Jack's life when a woman claiming to be his girlfriend posted videos on social media. Alisha Cook, 23, a debt collector from South Hetton, shared clips showing her and Jack together, including affectionate moments and nights out clubbing.

Comments flooded in, with some praising the couple's loyalty and others joking about Jack’s hairstyle. One quipped: "Have a word with his barber because I don't know how he leaves the house like that."

Jack, who is now living in Hetton, County Durham, Jack updated fans on social media yesterday to let them know he would be back in England for one night only, before flying back out to the party island.

Since going viral, Jack - also now known as 'Ibiza bob' - has posted a new TikTok video featuring friends, still rocking his signature sunglasses and gold chain while showing off more dance moves.

Fans have been quick to joke about his style, with comments like: "Short back and Battle of Hastings, cheers mate," and "Are the mandem from Sherwood Forest as well?"
