After updating all of its profile photos on social media with the EA FC 26 logo over the weekend, EA Sports has marked the start of the EA FC 26 era today, with the EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition cover being revealed. The newest instalment of the EA Sports FC series, EA FC 26 has been the hot topic for the EA Sports FC community over the last few weeks, and it appears that EA is finally switching its attention to its new game.

The EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition cover reveal is not exactly new information, mind. Over the last few weeks, leaks have revealed pretty much all there is to know about the new game. Leakers revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would star on the cover, and this leak has been proven true. Leaks also claimed that the Swede will be returning to the game as an Ultimate Team Icon.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns in EA FC 26

The EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition has been unveiled by EA, and it features Ibrahimovic, lying on a bed in a bedroom. It's an interesting cover for sure, with the background featuring badges and kits from his career, including Paris Saint-Germain, Sweden, and Malmo.

Alex Morgan also appears on the screen of the computer on the cover, which is all but confirming her return to EA FC 26 as an Icon, like Ibrahimovic. It was leaked last month that Morgan would be coming to EA FC 26 as an Icon.

Despite being one of the best strikers in world football during the 2010s, Ibrahimovic never featured on a FIFA cover, so this marks the first time that the Swedish star has featured on the front of an EA Sports game.
