  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Start by combining all the dry ingredients in a microwave-safe mug: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Then, stir in the wet ingredients and cook in the microwave for about a minute and 45 seconds until it rises.

That’s it - it’s that simple and it only takes five minutes or less. A tip is to add a mug warmer around to keep it hot for longer.
