Chelsea want £25million for Djordje Petrovic as a host of clubs line up to sign the goalkeeper. Bournemouth and Sunderland have both expressed an interest in landing the Serbia international.
Petrovic, 25, signed for Chelsea in a deal that could reach £14m in 2023 and eventually became the club's first choice in his debut season under Mauricio Pochettino. Following Enzo Maresca's arrival however, Petrovic joined Strasbourg - who also have an interest in his return - on loan and his performances earned him the club's player of the season honours.
The former New England Revolution goalkeeper is currently not in the United States with the Blues, where they have reached the Club World Cup final. Petrovic is said to have asked to be left out of the squad in order to help facilitate an exit.
Filip Jorgensen, Mike Penders, Robert Sanchez, Gabriel Slonina all travelled to the US with the possibility to line up in net. Maresca has opted to use Sanchez in all but one game in the tournament where Jorgensen was selected in the starting XI instead.
Chelsea have already seen two goalkeepers depart this summer. Veteran goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli joined Manchester City, while Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Arsenal in a £5m deal. The Spaniard spent last term on loan with Bournemouth as Andoni Iraola's No.1.

That has left the Cherries in the market for a new goalkeeper, despite Neto's return from a season-long loan to Arsenal. Bournemouth will need to find £25m in order to acquire Petrovic however, per the Telegraph.
Petrovic's stance comes despite Chelsea seemingly being in the market for a new first choice goalkeeper if the opportunity arises. The Blues made an attempt at signing Mike Maignan but did not want to meet AC Milan's £25m asking price for the Frenchman, 30, who has one year remaining on his contract.
New Rossoneri boss Max Allegri has now suggested Maignan's future will be at the San Siro.
"Maignan remains the captain and is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe," he told the press on Monday. "I am very happy he decided to stay."
As such, it appears that Sanchez remains the man who will be Chelsea's No.1 in the coming season.

Blues head coach Maresca meanwhile has told players that want to leave the club that they are free to depart. Reponding to speculation over Arsenal moving for Noni Madueke, the Italian laid out his stance.
"But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us. The ones that are not happy, they are free to go.
"It's not for Noni, it's for all the players we have. But again, Noni has been very good during the season and very good tonight."
