Lucknow: A 32-year-old man was brutally murdered inside his home in the Rahimabad area of Malihabad, Lucknow, late Monday night. The attackers barged into the house and assaulted Aman Dixit, son of Sushil Dixit, in front of his sister, using a sharp weapon and bricks. Despite her desperate pleas, the assailants continued the attack until Aman died on the spot.
Based on the sister’s complaint, an FIR has been registered against six individuals who are all residents of the same village. The incident took place in Bakhtauri village, where a long-standing property dispute is believed to be the motive.
Police said Aman had been opposing alleged attempts by Pankaj Dixit and others to forcibly occupy a family home that belonged to his late uncle. The conflict had been simmering for over a year.
