Mohit Suri's Saiyaara starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda was expected to take a good opening at the box office as the pre-release buzz was outstanding, and even the advance booking was excellent. But the film has surpassed everyone's expectations on day one and has taken a fantastic opening.
According to Sacnilk, on its first day, Saiyaara has collected approximately Rs. 20 crore, which is an amazing amount. It is the highest opening for a movie starring newcomers. The movie has marked the debut of Ahaan, and while Aneet did a supporting role in the movie Salaam Venky, this film marks her debut as a lead.
