Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In preparation for the coming Janmashtami celebrations, municipal commissioner Shivam Verma inspected roads surrounding the ISKCON temple to ensure smooth connectivity and access for the large number of devotees expected to visit the temple.
During the inspection, additional commissioner Abhay Rajnangonkar, superintendent engineer DR Lodhi, regional zonal officers and other officials were also present.

Considering the ongoing monsoon season, Verma first reviewed water logging issues in Scheme No 140 under Zone 19. He directed the zonal officer to implement a permanent measure for drainage in the affected areas to prevent water accumulation and ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
Subsequently, he inspected the Bypass Service Road and the stretch leading from Advance Academy and Platinum Paradise Road to Nipania, including the route connecting to the ISKCON temple under Zone 22.
Road to be functional before Janmashtami
The commissioner instructed the contractor to make the ISKCON temple road functional before Janmashtami, ensuring hassle-free movement of vehicles and devotees. He emphasized that construction work must proceed with due consideration about maintaining traffic flow despite the ongoing road development activities during the rainy season.
