Jaipur: A disturbing incident of animal abuse has come to light from Rajasthan's Jaipur. Many pet owners leave their beloved pets at home in the care of house help while they are at work. In this case, a shocking case of animal cruelty has surfaced, allegedly involving a house help assaulting a pet dog in the absence of the owners. The cruel act was captured on the home’s CCTV camera installed in the living room.
A video posted by an Instagram page Street Dogs of Bombay, shows a woman—claimed to be a house help—brutally thrashing the pet dog in the living room. In the footage, the woman can be seen picking up the dog and slamming it onto the ground. The video also shows, the woman beating the dog and the animal tries to flee.
The dog’s owner, identified as Dr Sangeeta, is a doctor. The pet dog, named Sophie was left with house help Manju Kanwar. Sophie is currently undergoing treatment. The video also shows a photo of a woman, claiming to be the house help.

Sophie Showed Signs Of Fear
The matter came to light after Sophie began showing signs of fear and distress, which prompted the owner to check the CCTV footage. Upon reviewing the footage, the shocking truth was revealed.
