The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Monday announced the playing 11 for the Test match against India starting on July 2. There has been no change in it while fans will have to wait for the return of Jofra Archer.

Archer was not a part of the practice session.
The second match between India and England will be played at Edgbaston. England has announced the playing 11 for this match without any change. Jofra Archer has not been included in it. Archer could not be a part of the practice session on Monday due to a family problem. Giving this information, the ECB had told that he could join the team on Tuesday.
England won the first Test.
The England team is leading in the five-match Test series. In the Leeds Test, the hosts defeated India by five wickets. In this match, they won the toss and decided to bat first. India scored 471 runs in the first innings and took a slight lead of six runs by all-out England for 465 runs in the first innings. India's second innings was all out for 364 on the fourth day and it gave England a target of 371 runs, gaining a total lead of 370 runs. England easily achieved the target on the last day and managed to take a 0-1 lead in the series. England won by scoring 373 runs for five wickets in the second innings.
