A group of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers vandalised the Tondgaon toll plaza in Washim district, alleging that toll fees were being charged despite unfinished road construction. Videos shared on social media show the group breaking booth windows with metal rods.
Raju Patil Kidse, the party’s district president, defended the action, claiming repeated complaints had gone unaddressed.
“There are no basic amenities at the plaza, and the road leading to Kanergaon is still unfinished. Yet toll collection has begun,” Kidse said in a video.

Earlier this month, MNS workers allegedly ransacked the Worli office of investor Sushil Kedia. The attack came after Kedia posted a comment on social media expressing reluctance to learn Marathi, accompanied by a remark aimed at MNS chief Raj Thackeray.#WATCH- MNS workers vandalize Washim toll plaza.@Aruneels and @MeenakshiUpreti share the latest updates. pic.twitter.com/11GOIloGQe
