Dubai’s Museum of the Future has launched a new initiative aimed at enhancing the visitor experience during the hot summer months. From July 1 to September 30, the museum is offering a “Summer Pass” that allows unlimited entry for one person throughout the three-month period. This pass, priced at AED 229 (Rs 5,352), enables guests to explore the museum at their convenience, without having to pre-select a time slot.
In addition to general access, the pass includes several exclusive benefits. Visitors will receive a AED 50 (Rs. 1,168) credit that can be used at the museum’s lobby retail store anytime during the summer. The pass also grants entry to specially curated seasonal events, children’s zones, and rare behind-the-scenes tours.
Seasonal Activations Catered for All Ages
To align with the increased preference for indoor activities during summer in the UAE, the Museum of the Future has curated a line-up of educational and cultural activations that run alongside the Summer Pass.
These experiences are designed to engage a wide range of visitors, from children to adults, and emphasize the museum’s ongoing focus on innovation, creativity, and wellness.
Space Pioneers and Creative Storytelling
Among the headline attractions is the “Meet an Astronaut” event, scheduled for July 14 and 21. On these days, visitors will have the chance to interact with members of the UAE’s space program, including astronauts from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre. These sessions aim to provide insights into the country's space exploration efforts and scientific ambitions.
Starting July 14, the museum will also introduce a guided photography tour titled “Capture the Future.” Led by the museum’s in-house experts, these early morning sessions will grant photographers exclusive access to some of the most visually captivating parts of the museum. Participants will learn creative storytelling techniques while capturing the architectural beauty of the space.
Wellness In A Futuristic Setting
Another addition to the summer calendar is “Wellness Weekends,” running every weekend from July 19 to August 29. Hosted at Al Waha, the wellness hub within the museum, these sessions will offer yoga and meditation practices guided by experienced instructors, creating an opportunity for visitors to unwind and recharge.
In a unique hands-on experience called “Light the Future,” select guests will be invited to switch on the lights of the museum’s iconic façade. This interactive event provides a rare chance for participants to play a visible role in the museum’s evening display, making it a memorable highlight for many.
Behind-the-Scenes Tours
For the first time, the Museum of the Future is opening up restricted areas through behind-the-scenes tours. These guided visits will give guests a look at the advanced operational and architectural systems that power the building, offering insights into the engineering marvel behind the futuristic design.
The museum also plans to unveil additional programming throughout the summer, including book readings, poetry sessions, and test drive experiences with Audi’s latest vehicles.
