According to Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, the film is expected to collect around Rs 30 crore worldwide on the first day.
“The buzz is good, and then it is a sequel. As such, I would say a Rs 30 crore opening is on the cards. It will also benefit from the May Day holiday,” he told Indiatimes.
HIT The Third Case has been shot on a budget of Rs 40 crore, It needs to gross around Rs 80 crore in its full run to emerge as a success. The film has been released alongside Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn, and Suriya’s Retro.
