Generally there is one letter and two digits on the cylinder. Like A-25 or B-26. Let us tell you that the letters A, B, C and D are for every three months. Which is from January to December respectively. And the two digits written next represent the year. Like 24 i.e. 2024 25 January 2025.

If B-28 is written on a cylinder. So it means that its expiry date is from April to June 2028. And after this date you have to stop using the cylinder. That is why when you buy the cylinder, make sure to check its expiry date.
