SSC Junior Engineer Notification 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the much-awaited notification of Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025. This time a total of 1340 posts will be recruited. This is considered to be the seventh major recruitment of June. The commission shared its information on the official website late on June 30. The application process has been started for interested candidates and the last date to apply is 21 July 2025 at 11 pm.

SSC JE 2025 Exam Date: SSC JE 2025 exam date
As per the schedule, SSC JE Paper 1 will be conducted from 27 October to 31 October 2025. These posts are Group B non-gazetted, non-ministerial. The salary package will be of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission. If selected, the candidate will get a salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
All the candidates willing to apply will have to register (OTR) on the new website of the commission, ssc.gov.in, as OTR done on the old website will not be considered valid.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a B.Tech degree or three-year diploma in the relevant subject. Two years of work experience is also required for some posts. Candidates must read the official notification before applying.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 has been fixed at 30 years. However, age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per government rules. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category will get a relaxation of 5 years, while Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates will be provided age relaxation of 3 years. The crucial date for calculating age has been kept as January 1, 2026.
SSC JE Exam Pattern
The SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will consist of two papers. Candidates will get 2 hours to solve the question paper and people from the PWD category will get an additional 40 minutes.
Application Fee
Applicants have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100. However, women, SC, ST, PWD, and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying any fee.
While filling out the SSC JE application form, candidates have to upload scanned signatures in JPEG format with a file size between 10 to 20 KB. The signature image should be 4 cm in width and 2 cm in height.

Register yourself and login to the account.
Next, fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
