Eberechi Eze is the latest name being strongly linked to Arsenal with Kepa Arrizabalaga confirmed as the Gunners' first summer transfer. The £5million release clause in his Chelsea contract was activated last month with his switch announced on the first day of the new financial year.
The Spaniard spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Bournemouth and joins with the aim of competing for the No.1 spot against David Raya. Further new signing announcements are expected over the coming days with deals also agreed for Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi from Brentford and Real Sociedad, respectively.
A switch for the latter has been in place for some time but at the Spanish club's request, the transfer has not been ratified until July for business accounting reasons. Following club statements on those three moves, wrapping up a deal for Cristhian Mosquera is likely to become the focus.

The Valencia defender has agreed personal terms with the Gunners and now a second offer is in the works. With the hope being a full agreement is reached swiftly, the remaining two months of the summer window can go onto three attacking signings.
A wide forward and striker joining have been clear priorities for some time but now a move for Eze is being considered
Arsenal and his representatives discussed terms for a transfer in a meeting over the weekend with the Athleticnow reporting Eze has been placed high up on their shortlist and that he is being pursued alongside a striker and wide forward signing.
The England international has a £68million release clause in his contract but it has also been claimed that Arsenal would look to pay below that. Following on from that bombshell update, more details have come to light regarding Eze potentially joining Arsenal.
As stated by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, all the important information on his release clause, commissions and demands is known to the Gunners with it added that Eze is open to sealing a switch across London.
With the player on board, Arsenal's chances of paying less than his release clause have already increased as Palace chairman Steve Parish is open to receiving the fee gradually with between £25m and £30m wanted upfront.
The remaining £30m or £35m then arriving over two instalments while there is around £8million left in performance-related bonuses. As they have done with Declan Rice and plan to do for Zubimendi, not forking out the full fee is a transfer masterstroke that Arsenal could look to pull off again.
