Valencia's Cristhian Mosquera is wanted by Arsenal but the La Liga side are understood to be keen to renew the defender's contract. Furthermore,as well as their hunt for a new striker, the Gunners are looking to strengthen their other attacking options.

Eberechi Eze is a target for Arteta after the 27-year-old played a big role in Crystal Palace's FA Cup win. Noni Madueke and Morgan Rogers are also players being considered, two players who offer versatility.
The Athletic's latest on Eze has claimed that Arsenal are yet to make contact with Crystal Palace but they are exploring the possibility of paying less than his £60m release clause at Selhurst Park. It's also claimed that a possible move for Eze would be separate from their hopes of adding a striker and left winger.
