Arsenal appear to be closing in on another signing after moving a step closer to bringing Martin Zubimendito North London.
The Gunnersare yet to make their first signing of the summer, but are close to bringing Zubimendi to Emirates Stadium as the first new addition to Mikel Arteta'ssquad.
It's likely that Arsenal's transfer business will ramp up once July 1 rolls around, which marks the start of a new financial year under the Profit & Sustainability Rules for the Premier League.

Zubimendi is not the only target for Arsenal, with the Gunners also looking to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard and RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.
Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera has also emerged as a target for Arsenal in recent days.
Reports have speculated that the Gunners have had a bid rejected by the La Liga outfit for the centre-back and now a fresh update has emerged about the Spain Under-21 international's future.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, formerly known as Twitter, Arsenal have reached an agreement over personal terms with Mosquera and are getting ready to make a second offer for the defender.
It has been reported that the first bid was in the region of €14 million (£12m), with Arsenal willing to go beyond €20m (£17m) to bring the centre-back to the Emirates.
Mosquera made 41 appearances for Valencia last season and was named in the Spain squad for the Euro Under-21 Championships this summer.
The defender helped his country reach the quarter-final of the competition, making three appearances, before Spain exited the competition after a 3-1 defeat to England.
His move to Arsenal would not please everyone, though. Valencia captain Jose Luis Gaya spoke to Spanish media recently and was asked about Mosquera and other candidates for a potential exit.
"I would like them to continue growing here, because they can still bring a lot of joy to the fans," he said.
"As of today, unless there's any breaking news, I think all three of them are still with us, and I hope it continues like this, and they continue to grow as players."
